A Roseville man suffers injuries following an accident in Zanesville.

The accident occured Thursday on Greenwood Avenue near the Abbott Home.

Zanesville Police say Anthony Beisser of Roseville failed to yield and hit a truck driven by an out of state man.

Beisser's car ended up off the side of the road and onto the sidewalk area.

He was originally taken to Genesis Good Samaritan, but later flown to Grant Medical Center. His condition isn't available...

The decision to install red light cameras in Zanesville has not been made, but Thursday afternoon city officials met with representatives from two camera system companies.

The systems catch traffic violators in action, with technology placed at accident prone streets that will take pictures and video as violations occur.

Hundreds of people came out tonight in support of injured k-9 officer Bosco and were treated to a special surprise. WHIZ's Katie Jeffries has the story.

Two men arrested in connection with a methamphetamine lab in Perry County waived their preliminary hearing Thursday.

54-year-old Robert Wise and 59-year-old Donald Miller are both charged with illegal manufacturing of drugs and illegal possession of chemicals to manufacture drugs.

Miller is also charged with a felony count of possession of methamphetamine.

Court officials say both of their cases will now go before a grand jury.

The protesting has started about the City of Zanesville's idea of possibly using Red Light Cameras on Maple Avenue and in School Zones.

At 3:30 this afternoon (Thursday) City officials started meeting with representatives of two companies who want to be the vendor for the Red Light Cameras.

Outside Zanesville City Hall people are protesting the proposed plan.

Zanesville firefighters took to the golf course today to help support local students.

The Muskingum County Community Foundation is holding a miniature golf outing to help raise funds for student scholarships. The event runs Thursday and Friday beginning at 10am. The winner of the golf outing will win $300 and the two lowest scorers will advance to the miniature golf national championship in New Jersey, to win up to $10,000. An organization that helps small businesses is looking for support from the Muskingum County Comissioners.

The small business incubator helps residents from Muskingum County and nine surrounding counties start up and maintain a small business. Board members from the incubator told county commissioners today, they have run out of space in their current location. To move forward the incubator needs around $1.5 million, but the county will not have to put up all the money.

The Muskingum Valley Red Cross says blood supplies at the Regional Lab in Columbus are dangerously low and they need the community members to roll up their sleeves and donate.

The blood bank has less than a day's supply left of A, B and O negative blood.

More than 10 vehicles were broken into and a truck stolen from neighborhoods off the West Pike and the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office says they believe all the incidents are connected.

Between midnight and 3 a.m. Wednesday, several vehicles were broken into in the Wildwood Circle sub-division and at the Eagle View apartments.

In the same time frame a black 1997 Dodge pick-up truck was stolen from nearby Ivy Drive.
