The Zanesville Police Department arrested a suspect believed to be connected to a January homicide investigation.

The Zanesville Police Department said it made three arrests this week in connection to prostitution in the downtown area.

Chief Kenneth Miller says last night three members of his department executed a prostitution sting on 7th St. from Market to South St.

Zanesville Police say they made an arrest this past weekend in connection to a recent assault.

Chief Kenny Miller says on the morning of February 12, officers received a call that a homeless man, 58 -year- old Timothy Jenkins, fell on Van Buren Street. After investigation they determined he had been assaulted.

The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol makes an arrest on State Route 146 Friday morning.

Sgt. Clark Felix said that troopers were attempting to pull over a motorcycle on a speeding violation near Dillon State Park when the rider took off. Sgt. Two Perry County men are arrested after a drug bust Friday night.

The Perry County Sheriff's Office along with the Crooksville Police Department conducted a search at 27 South Buckeye Street in Crooksville.

Heath Police have arrested a man in connnection with a bank robbery last month.

Police say 26-year-old Bryan Gambill of Wheelersburg, Ohio is being charged with aggravated robbery, a first degree felony.
 

Gambill is accused of robbing a PNC Bank  branch on Hebron Road at gunpoint on May 25th.

A Fairfield County man pleads not guilty to a felony charge of illegally manufacturing drugs.

Kevin nye was arraigned in court yesterday. The judge continued Nye's bond at 200 thousand dollars with a 50 thousand dollar recognizance bond.

He was arrested Friday night for allegedly running a meth lab out of his home.

A preliminary hearing has been set for May 27th.

A Fairfield County man is arrested on a felony charge of illegally manufacturing drugs.

Sheriff's Office Sergeant Rod Hamler says officers responded to 1280 Blacklick Road Friday and were looking for Kevin Nye, who allegedly was running a meth lab out of his home.

Nye will be arraigned tomorrow in court.

He is currently being held at the Fairfield County Jail on a 100 thousand dollar cash assurity bond and a 25 thousand dollar recognizance bond.

The Zanesville Police Department says an arrest has been made in connection with an April 21st homicide.

Officers responded to the intersection of Luck Avenue and Ohio Street around 11:30 that night and found 27-year-old Dajuan McKenzie, who had been shot once in the head and once in the upper body. McKenzie later died of his injuries at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

The Hocking County Sheriff's Office says it is looking for the father of a six-year-old boy, who was taken over the weekend.

29-year-old Robert Dunn had been in prison for a few years and after being released, Sergeant Kevin Groves says Dunn was attempting to make contact with his son, Austin Dunn. Groves says Austin's mother agreed to let the boy spend Saturday night with his father, but he wasn't brought back the next day. So, the mother reported her son missing.
