A family's barn in Perry Township is heavily damaged after a fire broke out Monday night.
Chief Bruce Sindeldecker with the Perry Township Fire Department said it happened around 6:30 p.m. at 795 Rustic Ridge Road.
"The firefighters did a defensive attack and were able to knock it down pretty quickly, so the structure although burned, is still standing," said Chief Sindeldecker.

A Zanesville family is still stunned that their barn is destroyed. The Stillions say heavy snow from the last week and a half brought down the 80 foot long and 50 foot wide structure.
WHIZ's Emily Baird set out to speak with the family to find out exactly what happened.
"I would never expect what little snow we still had on the roof and even the high winds that the barn would even come down, " says Victor Stillion.
