A Crooksville family dealing with the day-to-day struggles of Mitochondrial Disease got the surprise of a lifetime.

The 7th Annual "Bet on Baylee" Casino Day and Auction Nite was held on Saturday at the Roseville Community Center. Organizer Jody Thompson said she created the event in honor of her 11-year-old daughter Baylee, who suffers from Mitochondrial Disease.
