While Kindle E-readers have been available at John McIntire Library for several months they'll now broaden the horizons of younger library patrons.

The 100 year anniversary of the Great Flood of 1913 is being observed in many ways in the next two months.

The 100th anniversary of the great flood of 1913 will fall this coming March and local organizations are preparing to commemorate the deadly weather disaster.

The impact of the flood was ever-lasting and is part of our city's history. The John McIntire Library, the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy Distrcit and other groups are preparing several exhibits through a series of events to mark the anniversary in March.

The Muskingum County Library System has just received its final statistics for the usage of library resources in 2012.
