The May Primary is Tuesday and some registered voters will be heading to the polls.In Muskingum County it's being called a special election featuring just three issues.

Director of the Board of Election, Chris Hamill says that only certain areas are voting in this election.

"If you are in the West Muskingum, East Muskingum local school districts or the Village of Dresden you will be the only voters eligible to vote tomorrow, " said Hamill.

The November General Election is just a few hours away. For those who are waiting until Tuesday to fill out their ballot, the polls will open at 6:30 in the morning and will close at 7:30 at night. The Muskingum county Board of Elections spent most of Monday preparing for the big day.

Ohio Elections Chief says more than 800,000 people have already cast ballots during early voting with two weeks to go until Election Day.

Between mailed out ballots and in-person voting, a little over 11,000 people have cast their vote in Muskingum County. The Board of Elections expected the high numbers.

Early voting is underway and there's a new option for those wanting to vote early in this year's election.

The General Election results are now official.

To date, the unofficial results from November 2nd only included absentee ballots and votes from all the polling locations in Muskingum County, but the Board of Elections counted and added provisional ballots Tuesday morning. All of the winners in each race stayed the same.
