Your chance to cast your ballot for the May primary election begins Tuesday.

The Board of Elections will hold extended hours so those interested in casting their ballots early or registering to vote can do so. The May Primary is Tuesday and some registered voters will be heading to the polls.In Muskingum County it's being called a special election featuring just three issues.

The November General Election is just a few hours away. For those who are waiting until Tuesday to fill out their ballot, the polls will open at 6:30 in the morning and will close at 7:30 at night. The Muskingum county Board of Elections spent most of Monday preparing for the big day.

Ohio Elections Chief says more than 800,000 people have already cast ballots during early voting with two weeks to go until Election Day.

Between mailed out ballots and in-person voting, a little over 11,000 people have cast their vote in Muskingum County. The Board of Elections expected the high numbers.
