The Village of Chesterhill is working to repair a major water main break that could leave some residents without water.

Officials say a break occurred near the water tower on Buckeye Ridge and the system had to be shutdown.

Customers may lose pressure or be without water.

They hope to have the break fixed sometime Thursday night.

Once repairs are made customers will need to boil their water until further notice.

Due to a water main break, The Water Department of Muskingum County, has issued a boil alert  for the following areas: Garden Road from 999 to 607 including Field Drive and the Trailer Park on Ball Road.

If you live around those areas, you need to boil water for three minutes until further notice. If you have questions, call Muskingum County Water at  (740) 453-0678.

A boil alert issued last week for much of the Maysville Regional Water District has been lifted, however on Wednesday a new boil alert was issued.

Residents on Greenhouse Road, Shaw Road, Darlington Drive, East Darlington, Tipton Road, Yost Road, Holbert Lane, Old Glory and Freedom Lane should boil their water. It remains in effect until further notice.

The Village of Somerset Water Department has issued a boil alert for all homes in the Fancy Hill addition.

This includes: St. Patrick's Drive, Fancy Street, Fancy Court, and David Street.

The boil advisory is in effect until further notice due to a main line water break.

The Western Guernsey Regional Water District has issued a boil alert.  it includes residents who live west of Best Road and including Colonial Heights, Morgan Manor and Six Counties Inc.  The alert remains in effect until further notice.

The entire village of McConnelsville is under a boil alert,due to a 12 inch water main break at the village river crossing.

The boil alert is expected to last until Saturday at noon.

A boil advisory has been issued as a result of Thursday's power outage on the Maysville Pike.

The Maysville Regional Water District says the following areas are affected:

  • Jenkins Drive
  • Sunset Drive
  • Lakewood Drive
  • Thorn Drive
  • Zella Drive
  • Foxfire Drive
  • Malibu Lane
  •  Upper Broadvue Circle.

Residents in these areas should boil their water until further notice.

Maysville Regional Water District has lifted the boil advisory issued for Maysville Pike, Pinkerton Road, Ellen Drive, lower Broadvue Circle, McFarland Drive, and surrounding areas.

The boil alert was issued Wednesday due to a water main break.
