Officials say due to a water main break the following areas are affected:
Residents in these areas need to boil their water until further notice.

The boil alert for South Zanesville is lifted.
It began Monday after excess iron build up forced officials to shut down the Village's water plant.
Water Superintendent Danny Wiseman notes, residents are no longer advised to boil all cooking and drinking water. He thanks residents for their cooperation.

The Portersville East Branch Water Company is issuing a boil alert for customers in the Corning area.
The following areas are affected:
Customers in this area should boil their water vigorously for 2 minutes before drinking or cooking-eating.
The boil alert is in effect until further notice.

The Crooksville Water Office says the boil alert has been lifted for Bell Street, North State Street, Delaware Drive, Mohican Drive, Old State Road, and Possum Hollow.
