A Maysville teen enters a plea in a bomb threat case.

The 13-year-old was in juvenile court, Monday, and entered a plea of denial to charges of inducing panic.

Detention Superintendent Daniel Kieffer said that the teen will undergo evaluations before he goes before the court again.

The bomb threat January 15, placed Maysville High School in a lock down for several hours while the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office conducted a sweep of the building.

The Muskingum County Sheriff Office is responding to a bomb threat at Maysville High School.  The call came just after 8 Tuesday morning. The Newark Campus of Ohio State University and Central Ohio Technical College is closed Tuesday due to a bomb threat.  The School website made the announcement and indicated the campus will remain closed until further notice.  The Schools were evacuated as a precaution.  The Campus will reopen at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday for normal business and classes

The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office is investigating a bomb threat made at Mid-East Career and Technology Center.

Sheriff Matt Lutz said a note was discovered in a bathroom that indicated that a bomb threat would happen at 1:15 in the afternoon.

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says an arrest has been made in connection with some recent school bomb threats. The year isn't off to a great start at John Glenn High School.  Students have been forced to evacuate the building two days in a row.

Newark Police say two students have been charged in connection with a recent bomb threat at Newark High School.
 

Police Chief Steven Sarver says after a week long investigation the students, one in ninth grade and the other in tenth, confessed to the written bomb threat that put the school on a two hour delay last Friday.

Classes will resume at two area schools after they were evacuated Thursday due to bomb threats.

According to Lieutenant Dale Lyons of the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office, bomb threats were reportedly in the Rolling Hills Local School District at both Meadowbrook High And Middle Schools. Lyons says that no injuries were reported and the schools were evacuated so deputies could investigate.
