The local Fraternal Order of Police made its endorsement of candidates for the November election.

President of the FOP Zane Lodge #5 said they are endorsing Representative Brian Hill for the 97th State House District and Muskingum County Commissioner Steve Strauss.

The FOP made their decision after a screening by the endorsement committee and a vote of the membership at their monthly meeting.

Muskingum County Commissioners react to Hill's appointment of the 94th District State Representative.

Commissioner Jim Porter says it was probably a tough decision for Hill to leave , but it will be a benefit to the 94th District.

A state screening panel has unanimously recommended Muskingum County Commissioner Brian Hill become our area's state representative.

Hill will fill the 94th-district State Representative seat that was vacated when Troy Balderson was appointed State Senator.
