A Zanesville woman is lucky to be alive after being shot in the head early Tuesday morning while delivering newspapers.
The 9-1-1 call came in at about 3 this morning. 53 year-old Joyce Miller of Zanesville was delivering the newspaper near Brighton Boulevard and Dryden Road. She thought she heard a car back fire. The sound she heard was gun fire-striking her just behind the right ear.
