Although their hopes of playing in the national championship game are over, the Ohio State Buckeyes will be heading to Florida in early January to play the Clemson Tigers in the Discover Orange Bowl. AAA has put together a 3 day package for Buckeye fans wanting to make the trip down to the Sunshine State. One thing Ohio State has done consistently well this season is run the football. Carlos Hyde and Braxton Miller lead an offense that's been unstoppable at times. But if there's a team that can stop them, it would be Michigan State. The Spartans are equally tough at stopping the run, leading the nation in rushing defense. Needless to say, something's gotta give this weekend in the Big Ten Championship Game.

The Ohio State University Alumni Association of Muskingum County is preparing for their 14th Annual Scholarship Auction at the VFW Post 1058 in Zanesville coming up on June 20.

Mark your calenders.  All Buckeye fans have a chance to meet one of their team favorites.

Buckeyes leading receiver Dane Sanzenbacher will be signing autographs at Cardboard Heroes at Colony Square Mall.  The event is on January 19th from 6 to 8 p.m.

"We are selling tickets for 15 dollars a piece. We are also going to have 8x10 photos, mini helmets, and footballs that they can purchase to have him sign," said Cardboard Heroes Employee Bryce Cooper.

With the help of AAA, you can join the Buckeyes at the Sugar Bowl. 

AAA sales manager, Rhoda Collins, says the Sugar Bowl packages started selling this past Friday for the big game in New Orleans.  The three night stay begins on January 2nd and ends on the 5th.

O-H-I-O! Expect a lot of cheers coming from Eagle Sticks Friday night as Big Brothers Big Sisters hosts its 10th annual Buckeye Pep Rally.

The buckeyes made their 14th appearance today in the Rose Bowl and fans across the area packed local bars to cheer on them on.

"There's no better place than Ohio State and I think that place (Pasadena) will be packed with scarlet and gray," says Carrie Bunting.

While many people were gearing up for the game, others were talking strategy to win.

"Score some touch downs some field goals, whatever we got to do," says Rick Fitch.
