A controversial ordinance at Zanesville City Council has been postponed two weeks.
The ordinance has already been postponed twice in recent weeks and would allow the city to contract out Licking County's Building Department to perform some of its building inspection services. The Muskingum County Commissioners put up an offer of 40 percent of its revenue for building inspections to be given to the city, up 30 percent from where it currently is to help business stay in the county.
