A sport mostly reserved for the spring, summer, and fall helped out a sport played in the winter on a chilly Saturday morning in Beverly. River View ended a seven-game losing streak by pulling off the victory against Rosecrans.
With the game tied at seven at halftime, the Bishops' Luke Lloyd came right out of the gate and issued a challenge to the Black Bears. As predicted by a few coaches on the sideline, Lloyd ran the kick back 87 yards for the go-ahead score.
