It may be cold outside, but for Cambridge residents it means Christmas is right around the corner. 

"Best time of the year to be in Cambridge, I look forward to this every year, I just can't wait," says Brad Perkins a Cambridge peddler.

The Cambridge Police Department is investigating the death of a city resident.

The Daily Jeffersonian says authorities arrived at 2425 Broad Street around 7 a.m. yesterday and found 52-year-old Kevin Beardmore dead.

It says after authorites questioned two people at the home, they noticed discrepencies in their stories, leading up to Beardmore's death.

Authorities were still on the scene Monday of a Sunday blaze, putting out hot spots that continue to burn even after the building was demolished.

The three-story historic building on Wheeling Avenue in Cambridge caught fire around 1:30 Sunday morning and was demolished by crews later that day after it was determined it was structurally unsafe.

The building housed an antique shop, martial arts studio, art guild and carpet store.
