Zanesville Police recently made changes to staffing in hopes of giving the department a new perspective.

This week Chief Eric Lambes said he has moved around two of his captains and a lieutenant in order to fulfill some neglected areas. For the past year, Captain Kenneth Miller has been on leave. Zanesville Police continue to investigate an early morning home invasion.

Zanesville Police Captain Kenneth Miller says shortly before 4:00 a.m. Wedneday morning, dispatchers received a call of a person hanging out the window of a vehicle with a rifle yelling that they were looking for someone. That's when officers were dispatched to the area.
