Members of the healthcare field are receiving special recognition this week...

Monday marks the beginning of National Nurses Week. The Health Department's Director of Nursing Carol Howdyshell said there are a variety of jobs within the nursing field.

"We have, what we call, "public health nurses". So there is a huge diversity in knowledge and skill mix that we have. It's the best of nursing in my opinion, here at the health department," said Howdyshell.
