The state Chamber of Commerce said it is opposing the governor's tax code overhaul.

Final bids are being tallied on items auctioned off as part of this year's festival of trees.

The annual Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce fundraiser ended at six o'clock Friday evening. WHIZ's AM 12-40 is broadcasting the event live from the Welcome Center in downtown Zanesville. "A Taste of Zanesville" brought hundreds of people downtown Wednesday night.

More than 40 groups offered a variety of refreshments and displays. One of those participating was Christ's Table.

The holiday season is alive and well at the Welcome Center as they prepare for Friday's Festival of Trees.
