Every year, local churches gather together for a special singspiration to remember Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Sunday evening, John McIntire library held the 22nd annual singspiration where the various church choirs sang several hymns to honor the late Dr. King.

Five Zanesville churches came together Sunday afternoon in celebration of the City Wide Singspiration.
Every-other month one of the five churches hosts the musical gathering. Sunday's took place at St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
"We do a cross reference of songs, you're going to hear old gospel pieces and you're going to hear brand new pieces that were just written this year," explained Director of Music Susan Davis. "So it's a nice cross of age and time...
