Clark Waives Preliminary Hearing In Morgan County

A man who authorities say escaped from the Morgan County Jail last month waived his preliminary hearing Monday.

Prosecutor Mark Howdyshell says 19-year-old Christopher Clark's case will now go before a Grand Jury sometime this month.

Clark is being held on a $100,000 bond at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.

Bond has been set for a Morgan County Jail escapee.

Morgan County Prosecutor Mark Howdyshell says 19-year old Christopher Lee Clark's bond was set at $100,000 on Monday.

Deputies say he is facing charges stemming from an escape on Oct.15 when his cell door malfunctioned and he ran out a side door.

Clark was apprehended after an arrest sweep in Athens County last Wednesday.

Clark's preliminary hearing is set for next Monday.
