Buying a pound of cookies helps cut down on the pet population in Muskingum County.
Saturday, P.A.W.S. held their annual cookie walk to raise money for its organization. The group made and iced over 2,400 cookies for the event, while others donated bread, dog treats and other goodies.
The cookies were sold in pound containers. Money goes towards helping pet owners spay and neuter their animals at a low cost.
