The American Legion Car Show was held this weekend in Coshocton, but for one Warsaw man at the show, it was more than just the horse power.

Mike Ruby began collecting cars in the 80's, but soon discovered he wasn't very good at it.

"Couldn't get that shine, that everybody else gets," said Ruby. "And a friend of mine says, you ought to do something you like, something you know about. And I know about Military vehicles."

It took him a few weeks, but finally Cabott Harmon got back to the form that he was use to when he threw the discus. The senior who had a rough couple of weeks leading up to the State Track Meet was able to find the strength to make his best throw in the last meet of his high school career. There are millions of stray dogs and cats around the U.S. and one local animal rescue group is helping to place these four-legged friends into loving homes.

Four Paws Thrift Store and Pet Adoption Center brought several dogs to the Bark for Life event sponsored by the American Cancer Society in Coshocton on Saturday. Vice President Holly Downing said they are a no kill shelter and all of the animals are spayed and neutered and also have their required shots.
