The City of Newark Impound Lot was burglarized and you can earn a $1000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.

According to the Newark Police Department sometime between February 1-10 someone broke into the Impound Lot at 11-95 East Main Street and stole a Yamaha Dirt Bike valued at three thousand dollars.

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information on two Newark crimes.

Sometime between February 10th and 11th someone broke into a building in the 600-block of McKinley Avenue and stole tools including a welder, air ratchet, two socket sets and a tap set.

Also, between February 26th and March 1st someone broke into Ruth Justice Hair Designers at 719 West Church Street and stole a cash box containing money.

The Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information on a grand theft investigation in Heath.
 

Heath Police report on January 8th and 9th someone stole five vehicles from a property in the 800 block of Keller Drive.

The following vehicles were taken: 1988 Ford Van, 1991 Ford Econoline, 1990 Ford F-150, 1987 Ford Ranger and a late 1980's model Ford Ranger.

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information about two thefts at two Newark homes.

The first burglary was December 13th or 14th. Someone broke into a shed at a home in the 900-block of Idlewilde Avenue and stole a Craftsman toolbox valued at $2500, an air compressor and a kerosene heater.

The second happened sometime between December 21st and 29th on Postal Avenue. Someone stole jewelry valued at $3,000 and a desktop computer and...

The Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information on a jewelry theft in Newark.

Newark Police say Monday afternoon around 4:30 two suspects stole diamonds valued at nearly  $11,000 from an unlocked jewelry case at HL Art  Jewelers.
 

Police say a store employee observed the theft and called 9-1-1.
 

The suspects left the store and drove off in a car described as a Gray Pontiac Bonneville.

A local crime fighting group is looking for the the Muskingum County Commissioners to get on board.

Police report on the morning of September 14, someone broke into a home in the 1500 block of Quail Drive West and stole a variety of items including cash, computer software, jewelry and Heisey glass items.
