Some of Perry County's finest were honored by the Sons of the American Revolution Saturday.
Crooksville Fire Chief, Ralph Hill, New Lexington Fire Chief Scott Ervin and Perry County Sheriff's Deputy Brent Tysinger were honored with Commendation Medals for their work in fire safety and law enforcement.
Keith Kaufman of Hocking Valley Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution said honoring these local heroes is what his organization is all about.
