Local celebrities laced up their dancing shoes Saturday evening.
The fourth annual "Dancing with the Divas" event was held at the Eaglesticks Golf Club Saturday night. Co-host, Keely Ledebur said the event allowed eight local celebrities to compete in a dance competition to raise money for the charity of their choice.

A local organization is looking for volunteers and donations to make a difference in the lives of area children.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Zanesville has two outreach programs throughout the year, the first being a community based program where littles and bigs are matched and meet outside of school. The second, is school based program that will gear up in mid August. Elementary students are matched with a big once a week for a hour during the school day.
Dancing with the Divas local celebrity competition is more than a week away but one dancing duo hosted an additional fund-raising event to raise even more money for their charity.
Dancing partners, Kevin Knapp and Debbie Grubb, are one of the eight pairs of dancers and they have selected Big Brothers Big Sisters as their local charity to raise money for at the Dancing with the Divas contest as well as a smaller fund-raising event this evening at Eaglesticks Golf Club.

Friday, Dancing with the Dvas kicked off their 3rd season of the celebrity dance competition. Each celebrity met their dancing with the diva's partner and can now begin practice for this year's competition. Unlike year's past this year the divas chose their own dance partners.
