The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office says they found a body Wednesday evening just before 7 o’clock and it may be that of a victim in a recent shooting that also injured a toddler.  Sheriff Tom Jenkins says the body is believed to be that of 36-year-old John Davis III who has been missing since June 12th.  Deputies say Davis and 39-year-old Timmy Steven got into an argument that resulted in Davis being shot three times in the head in front of 430 North Riverview Road...

The Student Nursing Association of Zanesville is recognizing two women for their actions in a tragic bus accident last June.

A Brown Bag Lunch 'n' Learn was held at Ohio University-Zanesville Tuesday afternoon, where Darcie Davis, a fifth quarter nursing student, and Dr. Sally Fusner, an associate professor of nursing were each given a special award. A Zanesville man was sentenced today on sex charges involving children. 43-year-old Robert Davis Jr. plead guilty to two counts of rape and one count of gross sexual imposition. Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Mark Fleegle sentenced Davis to 25 years to life in prison. The Prosecutor’s Office says the charges stemmed from multiple incidents involving children from 1997 to March of this year.

A Zanesville man that was scheduled to go on trial for rape charges later this month instead entered a plea in court today. Assistant Muskingum County Prosecutor Ron Welch says 43-year-old Robert Davis Jr., a former Zanesville High School custodian, pleaded guilty in Muskingum County Common Please Court to two counts of rape and one count of gross sexual imposition. The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office is releasing the names of two-men taken into custody after Tuesday's drug bust at 1262 Central Avenue.

Sheriff Matt Lutz says Sheron Davis and Justin Adams were officially charged with multiple felonies.

"Davis was charged with trafficking in drugs which was cocaine, trafficking in drugs with a juvenile specification, which is a 1st degree felony and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, which is a first degree felony,"...
