Both eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 are back open after being closed for nearly four hours.

Other drivers on the roadway were forced to use a detour, posted by ODOT.

"We make sure we choose the best route to detour the traffic to get to these motorists safely to a new location and to a new route, " says Public Information Officer, Kate Stickle.
