A Monday afternoon accident shut down part of State Route 60.

Zanesville Police Patrolman Scott Blanton said a Subaru pulled out of a driveway on State Route 60 near the intersection of Marietta Street and into the path of a red pick-up.

The pick-up truck then hit the side of a semi truck traveling in the opposite direction rupturing part of the fuel tank, causing diesel fuel to spill out onto the roadway.
