The Muskingum County Sheriff's office is investigating the drowning of a two year child from the Akron area. The incident happened at a camping site off of Stillwell Road in Muskingum County's Cass Township.

A 911 call came into the Sheriff's office at around 8 pm and crews responded to the area at that time. The Sheriff's office said that the investigation is still ongoing at this time, and the name of the family and the child are not being released. WHIZ will bring you up to date...

A scary situation unfolded Wednesday afternoon at Dillon State Park.

Around 5:30, first responders from Falls and Licking Township Fire Departments were called to the beach after a one-year-old boy was pulled from the lake and was not breathing.

Search crews continue their search efforts in the Muskingum River for the third day after a man who had been tubing with a group of friends went missing Saturday afternoon.

The Perry County coroner has ruled a Roseville woman whose body was discovered in a ditch, drowned.

According to The Dispatch, Dr. Bradley Wilson says 42-year-old Loria Chevalier drowned in the ditch, because she was too drunk to pull herself out of about eight inches of water.

Chevalier's body was discovered on the side of Ceramic Road in Crooksville on April 14 by construction workers. Dr. Wilson reported that toxicology results showed Chevalier's blood alcohol level...

Family, friends and well-wishers, extended their condolences, and gathered to remember, 2-year-old, Anthony (A.J.) Tullius and 3-year-old, Ayden Cecil at a service on Tuesday morning, at Bolin Dierkes Funeral Home.

The search will continue for a two year old boy who has been missing from a camp where his 3-year-old step-brother drowned near Ellis Dam Saturday. A weekend camping trip to Ellis Dam turned into a nightmare for one local family.

A 6-year-old child is taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus after an evening incident.
