Ohio Attorney General Mike Dewine says synthetic drugs are being tweaked to stay legal.

Monday, Dewine met with the Ohio Pharmacy Board to discuss ways to ban newly created versions of drugs that escape the chemical definitions of state laws. Muskingum Behavioral Health CEO Steve Carrel says these drugs are altered and highly dangerous.

A Frazeysburg man arrested in a drug bust learned his sentence Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.

44-year-old Larry Bennett received a 24 month prison term on charges of aggravated in trafficking in drugs with a school specification and aggravated possession of drugs.

The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office along with other agencies were out Friday in full force to try and make our community a bit safer.

A Morgan County man pleads guilty to three charges in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court, stemming from a March 12th incident in Zanesville.

28-year-old Stuart Olney of McConnelsville faces one count of possession of drugs, crack cocaine, one count of child endangering, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Three men appear in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court for charges surrounding a drug bust in South Zanesville earlier this month.

32-year-old Randall Crane pled not guilty to four drug-related counts. His bond was continued at $50,000. 40-year-old Ricky Scurlock Junior plead not guilty to two drug-related counts.
