The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office said four people were taken into custody after a search of a home.

The search took place the morning of Wednesday, July 2 at 43388 US 36. As a result of the warrant a firearm and large amounts of drugs and cash were seized.

The four people were taken into custody pending the outcome of the investigation.

Law enforcement officials in Ohio are being warned of a new drug called "Gravel." The drug, which get its name from what it resembles, is a mixture of rat poison, bath salts and methamphetamine, and is migrating north from the southern part of the United States. Muskingum Behavioral Health CEO, Steve Carrell, says Gravel is a "comeback for bath salts," with very similar side effects.

The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office and the Zanesville Police Department joined forces to combat drug distribution in our area.

A variety of drugs and a weapon was found following a routine traffic stop.

According to the Cambridge Police Department at approximately 10:21 p.m. on Friday night  officers stopped at vehicle on Highland Avenue.

The K-9 unit was sent to sniff the car and the department found small amounts of  Heroin, Percocet Pills, Cocaine, Marijuana and suspected Morphine.

Cambridge Police made two arrests for drugs following a traffic stop.

Authorities said it started on Highland Avenue around 2p.m. Thursday when officers pulled over a vehicle for a cracked windshield and a traffic violation.

When police questioned the 21-year-old and 28-year-old men, from Cleveland, they gave conflicting accounts of why they were in town.

The summit was held in Cleveland to educate the public about the dangers of using heroin and to create a plan to combat the growing problem. A meth lab has been seized from a Thornville home.

After receiving information that methamphetamine was being produced at 14876 Empire Road, detectives from the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force and deputies from the Perry County Sheriff's Office seized the meth lab from the residence on Saturday. According to the Licking County Sheriff's Office 24-year-old Brandon Clemmons was booked into the Licking County Justice Center for Misdemeanor and Felony Charges.
