Local crews will be responding to a truck accident Thursday morning that will involve the leaking of hazardous chemicals, but it's a scheduled simulation that's part of a statewide 16 county full-scale disaster drill.

With the heavy overnight snow, the Muskingum County Emergency Management Agency leapt into action Saturday morning to help keep the public safe.

Just more than a month ago a pipe in the Rockies Express Pipeline ruptured just south of Philo. Now the company is admitting to first responders, it made mistakes.

The Licking County Emergency Management Agency is cleaning up a 13 mile diesel fuel spill.

A waste management truck blew a fuel injector around 9:30 Thursday morning and spilled fuel down Linnville road from US 40 to Ohio 13. When the fuel hit the wet pavement, Deputy Director Steven Smith says, it made the roadway like ice.
