A Norwich man passed away following a two vehicle accident Wednesday night.

The State Highway Patrol said it's investigating the accident that took place around 10:30p.m. on US 22 at Sundale Road in Union Township, Muskingum County.

Troopers said 21-year-old Ethan West of Norwich was driving north on Sundale in a Jeep Grand Cherokee and failed to yield at a stop sign and drove into the path of 44-year-old Thomas Smith of Zanesville.
