With temperatures in the 60's and 70's this week people are out and about enjoying the early fall weather before it gets chillier.

Next week temperatures are expected to drop, but for now people of all ages were out on the Genesis Trail admiring the fall colors and leaves, while working on their fitness.

For many people, fall is an enjoyable time of year because of the changing of the leaves.

Southeast Ohio is known for its array of colors. There's plenty of red's with the dogwoods, orange's and yellow's with the maple trees, and purple's with the ash trees, But summer's heat and the dry weather may spoil the event this year.

When most people think of allergies, they imagine people who suffer from trees and flowers blooming during the springtime, but the Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department says just as many people have fall allergies. Most of those deal with dust and ragweed.

Most of the leaves across Southeastern Ohio have reached their peak and are beginning to fall.

That means lots of rakes will be in good use across the city, and starting monday, the Zanesville City Street Department will have three trucks picking up those piles of leaves.
