Search crews continue to scour the Muskingum River after a man went missing who had been tubing with a group of friends Saturday afternoon.

A rollover tractor accident injures one person Wednesday night in Muskingum Township.

First responders were called to 5360 West Shore Drive around 8:45 p.m. A man driving a tractor tumbled down an embankment into the Muskingum River.

Most people know Firefighters can take the heat when battling a blaze, but put an open flamed grill in front of them and watch out!

The Falls Township Volunteer Fire Department hosted their annual Chicken Barbecue on Sunday afternoon. The crew served up about 1,500 chicken dinners. One local resident, Dean Cole, said he makes a point to support the department by coming out with his family each year.

High water poses a problem for a local hunter early Wednesday morning.

Just before 7:30 a call came in to the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office regarding a person in need of rescue at the Dillon Sportsman Area.

"He was on his way out hunting," said Licking Township Firefighter Dustin Shipley. "He didn't see the water and started driving in it, then his car stalled out after he got in so deep."

A house fire caused a busy street to be shut down during rush hour Monday.

Falls Township Fire Department Lt. Mark Brown said it happened around 8 at 2855 Linden Avenue.

"We received a call at approximately 0800 hours from the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office saying they had several 911 calls in reference of a structure fire," Lt. Mark Brown said.

Linden was closed  just before East Highland Drive for more than an hour Monday morning ...
