The New Philadelphia Post of the State Highway Patrol is still investigating a crash that has left a Byesville woman dead.
It happened on Interstate 77 near mile post 76 on Monday.
Lieutenant Eric Escola says 57-year-old Josephine Rice went off the left side of the road, overcorrected into the right lane, and went off the left side of the road again before striking a guardrail. The force of the impact caused the car to overturn several times in the median.
A Newark woman was killed in a two vehicle crash Friday morning on Ohio 37 in near Granville.
The Granville Post of the Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Jessica Buchanon was driving east on 37, went left of center and slammed head-on into a semi-tractor trailer. It was driven by 43-year-old Nicholas Roberts, also of Newark.
Troopers say weather was not a factor in the crash and its possible Buchanon fell asleep at the wheel.
One person is dead and two others are injured after an overnight accident.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. on State Route 13 in Trimble.

Authorities says Shawn Grooms was traveling northbound on Interstate 270, near East Main Street, when he struck Keyona Redman of Columbus, who ran in the middle of the freeway.

The Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Ann Brown was traveling westbound on Tatman's Road and she failed to stop at the State Route 13 intersection. It says the car went off the right side of the road, hit a ditch, went airborne, and then struck a tree. Troopers say the car landed on its top.
