The Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol  is investigating a fatal crash that happened in Fairfield County.
 

Authorities say around 6:13 a.m. Friday, 20-year-old Joshua Owen of Lancaster was driving west on Lithopolis Road when he drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a mailbox, utility pole and a tree.
 

Owen was pronounced dead at the scene.
 

Troopers say he was not wearing a seat belt.

The Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol is investigating a one vehicle fatal accident near High Point Road in Perry County.
 

It happened around 11p.m. Thursday on State Route 188.
 

The Patrol reports that 28-year-old Robert Kimmel of Pleasantville was driving east on State Route 188 when he drove off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree head on.

Authorities are on the scene of a one vehicle fatal accident on Millers Lane in Muskingum County.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. Friday

Initial reports from the scene are that a female driver was killed in the crash.

The Muskingum County coroner has been called to the scene.

The State Highway Patrol is investigating a three vehicle fatal crash on Interstate 70 in Licking County.

It happened just before 5:00 a.m. Wednesday near the State Route 79 exit.
 

According to the Granville Post, a 1998 Mazda Millennia and a 2010 Dodge Caravan were travelling east on I-70.

The Patrol says the Millennia rear ended the Caravan causing both vehicles to go off the left side of the roadway striking the median cable barrier.

The Ohio Department Of Transportation says I-70 Westbound and Eastbound are now open after an early morning fatal accident.  It happened on I-70  Westbound near State Route 13. Both sides of the Interstate were shut down for a five of hours this morning while the accident scene was investigated.  No other details have been released.

Heath Police investigate a fatal accident involving a Zanesville man.

Chief Tony Shepherd said just after 4 Tuesday morning officers responding to a vehicle off the roadway at Irving Wick Drive East found the body of 59-year-old Ronald Robinson in the car.

Chief Shepherd says that firefighters and police at the scene believe Robinson may have died of a medical condition, prior to the crash, but won't know anything until an autopsy is performed by the Licking County Coroner.

The Zanesville Highway Patrol has released more details from a fatal accident that claimed the life of a 13-year-old girl near Frazeysburg. Troopers say the victim is now identified as Alison Clark of Dresden. She was a passenger in a car driven by 37-year-old Amy Caplinger, also of Dresden. It was a deadly start to the day in Perry County Thursday morning.

The Lancaster Post of the Highway Patrol says two people were killed in a head-on collision on State Route 13 just north of Somerset at 8:15 am.  Troopers identify the fatally injured victims as 24-year-old Franklin Merckle and 25-year-old Jeremy Penrod, both of New Lexington.

Freezing rain is responsible for an early morning death.

It happed around 9 AM Saturday morning in Goshen Township. Bradley and Shawna Carlson of Dover were traveling east on US 250 near milepost 13 when their Honda Civic struck a Lincoln Continental that was stopped in the roadway from a previous crash.
