More than 200 trees, wreathes and decorative items will be auctioned off as part of this year's Festival of Trees.

All donated items will be auctioned off this Friday from the Welcome Center in Downtown Zanesville. Vice President of Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce Kelly Ashby said each item comes with a special incentive.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in downtown Zanesville.

The Y-city is preparing for many events throughout the month of December.  Zanesville Downtown Association Manager Dana Matz said the Miracle on Main Street celebration will take place on Wednesday.

There's still time to participate in this year's Festival of Trees in Zanesville.

In just a few weeks, the Muskingum County Welcome Center will transform into a winter wonderland.  Chamber of Commerce President Tom Poorman said the auction will feature more than 200 Christmas trees, wreaths and stockings.

Festival of Trees brings a huge success to the community.

With the end of Festival of Trees this past Friday, Tom Poorman, President of Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce, says the event was nothing less than terrific.  The turn out on auction day involved large amounts of bidding and buying that further proved this event's accomplishment.

The holiday season is alive and well at the Welcome Center as they prepare for Friday's Festival of Trees.

There's a pink tree, wine tree and wreaths of all kinds. Many stopped by Thursday to wander through the holiday displays getting a peak of what's up for auction. One organizer said an extended deadline led to more entries.

The Festival of Trees is a holiday tradition for many in the city of Zanesville and Muskingum County.

The event kicks-off December 1st in conjunction with the Miracle on Main Street event, but the count is down slightly this year by about 40 trees.

This year's Chamber of Commerce Festival of Trees fundraiser in Zanesville will have a distinctly local theme.

The Festival of Trees is going on Friday and lots of people are bidding all day long on their favorite Christmas decorations.
Bidder Randy Bankes of the downtown Zanesville Community Bank says they like to bid to help out their customers.

The annual Festival of Trees Auction is set for Friday morning.  The event kicks off at 9am and around 220 holiday items will be up for bid.

Rain and cold weather couldn't dampen the holiday spirits of hundreds of people at the Miracle on Main Street celebration.

This is the 16th year for Miracle on Main in downtown Zanesville. Sixty-one local businesses opened their doors to greet the crowds of people and some offered snacks and hot chocolate. The Zanesville High School Blue Knights also entertained the eager crowd with Christmas carols. For many families, it is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season....
