A father daughter duo will put on the fireworks show for the city of Zanesville on Thursday.
Stephen and Amelia Vincent are licensed pyrotechnicians who are planning two different shows for the holiday.
"I am doing the downtown show for the Zanesville Jaycee's right across the river from the park," said Pyrotechnician, Stephen Vincent. My show is at the Zanesville Country Club tonight," added Pyrotechnician, Amelia Vincent-Lepi. "
The day following the Fourth of July, animal shelters see an influx of lost pets because they get scared of the fireworks and usually take off. If you plan on going to Zane's Landing or any other location to watch the fireworks, it's advised that you keep your pets at home.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports less drunk driving arrests this Fourth of July.
Trooper Stephen Williams of the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol says locally they had around 600 stops, 400 of which were for speeding and other offenses. 75 were seatbelt violations, and only 5 were DUI arrests.

Riesbeck's Pick N Save parking lot was packed Monday morning with shoppers scrambling to get last minute deals. Assistant Store Director, Steve Fusner, says the store was busy keeping shelves stocked.
