The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office raided some village offices in Frazeysburg Thursday. It was a joint operation, including representation of the State Auditor's Office.

Sheriff Matt Lutz said his deputies executed search warrants stemming from accusations of misspent tax money and possible criminal wrongdoing. Offices searched include the Municipal Building on State Street, the Water Plant on Spellman Lane and the Sewer Plant on Canal Street.
