According to the Licking County Sheriff's Office 24-year-old Brandon Clemmons was booked into the Licking County Justice Center for Misdemeanor and Felony Charges.

The Ohio Attorney General's Office says the number of concealed carry permits have soared over the past year.

Officials say a record breaking, 82,000 permits have been issued from this year through the end of September. This is significantly higher than all of last year and according to Sheriff Matt Lutz, the same goes for Muskingum County.

Sheriff's deputies are required by the state to take a shooting qualifications test every year, according to Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz. With the new surface on their Adamsville Road shooting range, the deputies will be able to train during all four seasons.
