Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz has identified the victim of a homicide which happened around 10:50PM last night at 6677 McCaslin road in Nashport.

Twenty five year old Brandy Daniels was discovered by her sister, Tess Payton, in her vehicle at the end of their driveway. Payton said her sister was on the way home from work and on the phone with her boyfriend when she turned onto the driveway and the call was dropped.

The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office investigates what they consider a suspicious death. 

Sheriff Matt Lutz said that around 10:50p.m. Monday the sheriff's office received a call in reference to an unresponsive female at 6677 McCaslin Road. 

When deputies arrived they found the body of a 25-year-old female, deceased. Sheriff Lutz said detectives are investigating the case as a homicide.

According to the Cambridge Police Department at around noon on Friday, February 7th, employees of the Deer Creek Motel reported the discovery of a dead motel guest.

Officers arrived and found a 44-year-old male dead on the floor of the motel room. The identity of the victim is not being released until relatives have been notified. He is believed to be a recent Cambridge resident, having moved here from North Carolina and had been staying at the motel since February 1st.

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide.  Sheriff Timothy Rogers says on Tuesday deputies were called to the home of David Milich of 72185 Bates Road in Kimbolton.  Rogers says it appears that Milich had died several days earlier and was removed from the home.  Coshocton County Coroner Dr. Robert Gwinn ruled the death a homicide and stated that Milich had gunshot wounds to his body from a small caliber weapon.  The incident remains under...

New Lexington Police Chief Scott Ervin says charges have now been filed in a homicide.  The Chief says 52-year-old Patrick Pidock of New Lexington has been charged with murder in the death of 39-year-old Suzanne Brown.  Ervin says the incident happened around October 14th.   Brown’s body was discovered in the New Lexington Village Apartments.  Pidock is currently being held in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.  A court date has not yet been set.

The Cambridge Police Department is investigating a homicide.

On Friday officers were called to check on 47-year-old Robert Caples at a Beatty Avenue residence.  Upon arrival police found the man dead of an apparent homicide.  Caples was the Director of the Thompkin's Center Juvenile Residential Facility located on North 18th Street in Cambridge.

The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a weekend shooting death.

The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Jason Miller of Muskingum County.

The Sheriff’s Office says Miller’s body was found around 2:30 Sunday morning beside Howell Road in Spencer Township.

The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide.

 Sheriff Mike McCauley says on Thursday around 6:00 pm a man went to check on his father who he had not heard from in a while. The Sheriff says the son found his dad deceased.

The only details that are being released Friday are that the victim is a 55-year-old who lived in Lake Seneca Resorts in southeast Guernsey County.

The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office says it's treating a five-month-old's death as a homicide.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 2000 block of the east pike just after midnight Monday. They discovered that Dash Christopher Ray Wright, who was with family, was not breathing. The baby was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
