A Zanesville home was damaged by fire early Monday evening.

According to the Zanesville Fire Department at about 8:15 p.m. the fire was first reported at 603 Warwick Avenue. An Assistant Chief with the fire department says a family of five partially lives at the home but no one was there at the time of the fire.

Most of the damage was to the exterior, and neighboring homes were also slightly damaged. At this time there is no cause, and no indication of arson.

Harrison Township fire crews battled flames through the rain Sunday afternoon.

Around 5:00 p.m. the department responded to calls of a structure fire at 5626 Center Road south of Zanesville. The fire started in one of the bedrooms and was quickly contained, although the rest of the home did suffer some smoke and water damage. The family living in the home was away at the time. The Zanesville Fire Department has been called to the scene of a house fire.  It happened around 1:30 Monday afternoon at 103 Amazon Hill which is off West Main Street.  Initial reports from the scene indicate heavy smoking coming from the structure.  Whiz News has a crew on the scene.

Several fire crews responded to a house fire near Nashport late Tuesdday afternoon.

According to Licking Township Fire Chief Matt Wheeler at around 5:30 p.m. crews were called to 5961 Pleasant Valley Road. Authorities say the fire started in the garage but it is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal's Office.

Two vechicles were damaged in the fire and Chief Miller says the home is considered a total loss.

A house fire at 5485 Pinecrest Drive in Zanesville destroys a portion of the residence.

According to Falls Township EMS Captain, Ted Norris the fire department responded to the scene and saw smoke and flames coming from the south end of the home. According to fire officials, the fire started at 5 a.m. Thursday morning at the home of Robert Walker at 7294 SR 345, just north of Crooksville. Fire fighter Dan Rodgers says the two-story wooden-frame home was fully involved in flames when crews arrived, and says the family managed to escape the burning home unharmed. The Muskingum Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross is assisting the family.

A fire engulfed a home late Saturday night completely destroying the structure.

New Concord Fire Department was first on the scene and say that they received a call from a witness who noticed smoke coming from the home on the 10000 Block of Coshocton Road. They arrived at approximately 9:30 p.m. and firefighters say no one was injured and that  the family was on vacation in Virginia Beach at the time of the blaze.

The South Zanesville Fire Department responded to a house fire at 2058 Chewelah Ave. in the area of Dearborn Street around 2:15 p.m. Thursday afternoon. The two occupants of the house were inside when the fire started.

The Wayne Township/Duncan Falls, Harrison Township and South Zanesville Fire Departments were called to the scene of the blaze and the home was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived.
