H.S. Girls Basketball:

Shadyside 49 Rosecrans 48

Today Zanesville athletic director Scott Aronhalt announced that his former top assistant Jeff Moore would become the next head coach of the Lady Devils basketball team. Moore who has been out of coach the last few years to work as an...

The Zanesville Lady Devils have been through a lot the last two seasons. First it was the resignation of Coach Howard Twiggs and tonight they saw their second coach leave in the matter of two seasons.

Tonight the Zanesville Board of Education accepted the resignation of Jessica McKenzie as head coach. McKenzie who spent one season at the helm of the Lady Devils is leaving due to personal reasons. She guided the Lady Devils to a sectional runner up this season and was able to string...

To borrow a phrase from Mark Twain, the rumors of Zanesville's demise have been greatly exagerrated. The Blue Devil boys basketball team returned to their winning ways after a two game skid, handling Massillon Washington 71-61. It was the highest scoring output for the Devils this season. Senior Cole Carpenter leading the way with a career high 25 points and 10 rebounds, good for his second double-double of the year. Tanner Gibson poured in 22 points, as Rian Burrell chipped in 11. ...
