Across the nation Sunday, people are walking to stomp out hunger.
Zanesville's local CROP Hunger Walk, which stands for Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty, kicked off this afternoon at the Zanes Landing Park. Organizers are hoping to raise around 16,000 dollars, 25% of the money will remain locally and be split between the Salvation Army and Christ Table.
