An accident on the interestate is causing the Ohio Department of Transporation to restrict traffic.
The accident has currently restricted Interstate 70 westbound to one lane near the Gratiot exit.
Crews are on the scene to clear the accident. Motorists should plan ahead for delays.
The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol investigates a fatal accident involving four vehicles.
The Patrol reports they got a call about the accident around 12:27 Thursday morning. The accident took place at Interstate 70 just west of State Route 158.
They report three commercial vehicles and one pick up truck were involved, one person was confirmed dead.

State Highway Patrol Trooper Jeff Fowler says a car traveling Eastbound on Interstate 70 crashed near New Concord.
"The vehicle drove into the rumble strips on the median side, overcorrected, lost control, flipped into the median ejecting one of the back passengers out the back window," said Trooper Jeff Fowler.

An accident slowed traffic on interstate-70 early Saturday. According to the State Highway Patrol, a mini-van was traveling eastbound on I-70 when it crossed the median near the Airport Road exit. The van struck a Buick traveling westbound. The patrol says the two drivers were the only people involved in the crash. State Highway Patrol Trooper Jeff Fowler said it happened around 5:45 PM near the Adamsville exit on I-70.

The Licking County Post of the State Highway Patrol said the accident between a van and a semi took place around 6:14 Wednesday morning on Interstate 70 west near the Newark/Thornville exit.
