A 13-year-old girl is dead after a two car crash and two other individuals are taken to the hospital with what the Dresden Fire Department says are serious injuries.

It happened around 5:15 p.m. on Raiders Road, near the intersection of Short Road, in Frazeysburg.

With the weather warming up, residents need to be aware of the potential danger of falling icicles.

Zanesville Fire Chief Dave Lacy says the icicles hanging from homes and buildings this year are some of the largest he has ever seen. With the size and weight of this winter's icicles, they can be dangerous as the fall from buildings.

Two teenagers are in serious condition after an accident in Coshocton County.

It happened around 11:30 a.m.

Coshocton Sheriff's Sergeant John Glasure says 17-year-old Dustin Edgell and 19-year-old Cody Edgell were riding a four-wheeler on County Road 58. He says they attempted to cross State Route 541, when they were struck by a pick-up truck, driven by 73-year-old Archie Brink.

Four people are sent to Good Samaritan Hospital after an accident in Zanesville.

It happened around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Maple and Adair Avenues.

Zanesville Police Department Lieutenent Tony Coury says 18-year-old Ashley Valentine was traveling east on Adair Avenue when she attempted to make a left hand turn onto Maple Avenue. He says Valentine ended up striking 33-year-old Melissa Bowman, who was traveling west on Adair Avenue.

The Zanesville Police Department says a pregnant woman is taken to Good Samaritan Hospital after a two car accident.

It happened around 3:15 p.m. at the intersection of Maple and Forest Avenues.

Officers say Ronnie Stamm was traveling north on Maple Avenue and attempted to make an illegal left hand turn onto Forest Avenue when he struck Tasha Ramsey. She was traveling south on Maple Avenue.

Ramsey was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.

A downtown Zanesville building suffers minor damage after a two car accident.

It happened around 2 p.m. at the intersection of 6th and Main streets.

The Zanesville Police Department is still looking for a driver who fled the scene of an accident earlier this afternoon.

It happened around 5:15 p.m. near the intersection of East and Center drives.

Sergeant Chris Phipps says the driver lost control of the vehicle, went down the hill, and the front end of the car ended in a small stream. He says the driver of the car proceeded to flee the scene on foot, noting there was a set of footprints in the snow.

It happened around 4 p.m. on Ohio 79 near its intersection with Hopewell Drive.
