If you're swatting bugs and scratching bites, that's because it's mosquito season again.

According to the Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department, recent heavy rain and flooding could increase mosquito populations.  Public Health Sanitarian Matt Hemmer said there are different types of mosquitoes that are active in certain months.
