The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol says a deer is to blame for an accident on Interstate 70.

Routine maintenance work on Interstate 70 will close the Westbound passing lane Thursday.
ODOT spokeswoman, Kate Stickle says the lane will be closed within the corporate limits of the City of Zanesville from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stickle says the driving lane will remain open, but drivers are advised to take alternate routes. Stickle says ODOT plans to work on the Eastbound passing lane on Friday, which will limit the roadway to one lane.
