Golfers around the Zanesville area headed to Jaycee's Golf Course today to support a very important cause.

The 25th annual Disaster Relief Golf Tournament was held this afternoon. The funds raised went to support the people in the counties served by the local, American Red Cross. Marlene Henderson, Executive Director of the American Red Cross said it is always a fun event for those who partake in it.

The Zanesville Jaycee's 25th annual Christmas for Kids Shpping Tour was Tuesday and it went off without a hitch.

The generous program starts gearing up in the fall, with the Jaycee's Redbull Tournament at its golf course, as the major fundraising event. Then they receive a list of children in need from job and family services.

A local golf outing raised scholarship money for high school seniors in the community.

Jaycee's Golf Course had its annual Memorial Scholarship Competition today better known as the 999 tournament .

A record number of ninety golfers hit the links at Jaycee's Golf Course in Zanesville Sunday.

This year's tournament, which provides three high school seniors with $1,000 scholarships. The winners are Zanesville's Payton Norris and Caitlin Coulson and Tri-Valley's Ashley Huffman.

More than 100 golfers teed-up Saturday  for a good cause.

The 5th annual East Side Community Ministry Golf Outing took place Saturday afternoon at the Jaycee's Golf Course. 104 golfers took part in the event. Former Board Member Mark Crawmer said that's more than ever before.
