More people in Southeastern Ohio have jobs. That's the latest news from the state.


The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services released the figures for May, and the jobless rates have fallen close to one percent. Muskingum County Opportunity Center tells us why.

State officials say 63 of Ohio’s 88 counties saw rising unemployment last month. The Department of Job and Family Services says in our area the results were mixed in the month of November. Morgan County’s jobless rate increased from 14.6% to 15.5%. Noble County’s rate also increased. In Muskingum County the unemployment rate increased from 11.9% in October to 12.3 percent in November.
